Triple Chocolate Brownies
This recipe takes brownies to a whole new level! These brownies consist of 3 layers of chocolate - dark cocoa powder, regular cocoa powder, and mini chocolate chips. So good and just as easy to make as using a box mix!

  1. 3/4 cup cocoa
  2. 1 tablespoon dark cocoa
  3. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  4. 2/3 cup melted butter, divided
  5. 1/2 cup boiling water
  6. 1 1/2 cups sugar
  7. 2 eggs
  8. 1 1/3 cups flour
  9. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  10. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  11. 6 ounces mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  12. powdered sugar for topping
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 11in.x7in. pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cocoa powder and dark cocoa powder with baking soda. Mix in 1/3 cup of melted butter.
  3. Add boiling water and stir until combined.
  4. Add sugar, eggs and remaining 1/3 cup butter. Stir well.
  5. Add flour, vanilla, and salt. Mix together until well blended. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour into greased 11x7 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until center is firm.
  7. Let brownies cool completely. Top with powdered sugar, if desired.
