Easy Grilled Whitefish

Use your favorite whitefish and our recipe of seasonings for an easy grilled meal.

  1. 2-3 lbs. skin-on whitefsh fillets
  2. grapeseed, canola, or olive oil for brushing
  3. 3/4 cup soy sauce
  4. 5 garlic cloves, minced
  1. Combine the garlic and the soy sauce in a bowl.
  2. Cut the fish in thin 2 to 2 1/2 inch fillets.
  3. Marinate the fillets in the marinade.
  4. Afterwards, let the fillets sit (skin side up) in the marinade for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Prepare the grill for high heat.
  6. Brush the fillets well with the olive or the grape seed oil.
  7. Place the fillets skin side up so that the skinless side gets a nice grill.
  8. Cook for 2-3 minutes and then flip the fillets over.
  9. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the fish is lightly opaque.
