For the Dressing
  1. 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  2. 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  3. 1 1/2 tablespoons honey or sugar
  4. 1/8 teaspoon salt
  5. 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
For the Salad
  1. 1 head of broccoli (about 3-4 cups), rinsed and chopped
  2. 1/4 cup golden raisins
  3. 1/3 cup red onion, chopped
  4. 6 slices bacon
Instructions
  1. To make the dressing combine mayo, vinegar, honey or sugar, and the salt and pepper in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth and set aside.
  2. Combine the broccoli, raisins, and red onion in a large bowl. Pour in the dressing and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  3. Cook the bacon right before serving, just until crispy. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Crumble over the salad and toss well.
  4. Taste and adjust the seasoning, if necessary. Serve cold or at room temperature.
